9 September 1999 Landmark only: Modules have been re-linked for
compatability with Landmark 98 version of SeisWorks.

14 January, 1999 Landmark only: Fixed problem where D1.0 Decomp
and AVBF produced incorrect results when the
offset was set to a non-zero value.

21 December, 1998 Geoquest only: Implemented a check for unreasonable
cdp/line and x/y coord corner points. Also added
code to shutdown the IESX database connection
when user presses the Control-C key.

07 December, 1998 Landmark only: Fixed bug in D1.0 Decomposition
panel where the horizon offset value was
ignored when preceded by a + or - sign.

Geoquest only: (10px new version and Geoframe)
Specified text color on graphical user
interface as black. Previously, it defaulted
to the user's display which may not be black
and, therefore, would be hard to read.

Geoquest only: (Geoframe 3.1) sistoiesx3d and
iesx3dtosis have been tested quite extensively
with other USP programs and seem to be quite
                   stable. However, since Geoframe prints
messages to stdout, it is not possible to pipe
the output from iesx3dtosis to usp programs.
Instead, the output must be directed to disk.

Example: To run c3 on a IESX class and store the coherency
volume back into the IESX database:

            iesx3dtosis -project bairoil_rer -password bairoil_rer \
                        -survey western -class geo85mig \
                        -O/data1/temporaryvol.usp
            princ3d -int -lwin 96 -N/data1/temporaryvol.usp \
            | sistoiesx3d -project bairoil_rer -password bairoil_rer \
                          -survey western -class c3class -replace

12 November, 1998 Landmark only: Fixed bug in lm3dhrztosis.
Program would occassionally not find horizons
in very large horizon files (> 1000 horizons).
The program would result in an error such as:

      lm3dhrztosis: can't open horizon 1109dk_int
      lm3dhrztosis: fndhrz status: -1
      /apps/dist/SunOS/5/SSAM/SeisWorks/3/prod/sun4d/lm3dvtosis

20 October, 1998 Geoquest only:
                   1. sistoiesx3d and iesx3dtosis - Provided
executables to run in the Geoframe 3.1
                      environment. Also, re-wrote scripts.
                   2. SSAM - Added Horizon description that
appears in the IESX horizon list
                      to indicate attribute was computed
                      in SSAM.
                   3. SSAM - Now prints range of computed
attributes at end of program. Also,
                      now prints additional status information.
                   4. SSAM - Fixed problem that caused a
                      segmentation violation when the apa
                      calculation or other phase-related
                      calculation was used.
                   5. SSAM - Fixed problem that caused an
                      occasional coredump when constant time
                      horizons were used as input.

21 September, 1998 Added code to collect audit information.

03 August, 1998 Corrected problem in sosftware that caused
a file named 0 to be created in current
                  working directory.

23 July, 1998 Landmark only: Rebuilt all SSAM programs
for Sun OS 5 and 5.6 and SGI Irix platforms
using the most recent version (v4) of the
                  SeisWorks development libraries.
                  Includes SSAM 2D and 3D, lm3dvtosis,
                  lm3dhrztosis, sistolm3dv

22 July, 1998 Landmark only: Fixed problem with lm3dhrztosis
that corrupted horizon index files when a
horizon greater than 500 was read.
                  Also rebuild program lm3dvtosis.

14 July, 1998 Geoquest only: Fixed problem where Calculations
such as Phase Vector Amplitude and Average
                  Response Amplitude were resulting in
                  segmentation fault.

10 July, 1988 Geoquest only: Fixed problem resulting in
                  the error message:
"Not current process, please exit and
                     clear project first.
                     DB init failed with 124000014"
This typically happened on faster workstations

7 July, 1998 Geoquest only: Added capability to access
                  Geoframe 3.1 projects.

28 June, 1998 All single channel and COH (Landmark 3D):
                  Test for negative time-first-sample.
If tfs<0, program will terminate with
                  diagnostic error message. Will
provide more robust code in future.

23 June, 1998 AVBF panel (Landmark 3D):
Added new field for output 3dv file.

18 June, 1998 Added new button for Flowmaker (Landmark 3d).
                  Replaced c2p6 with c2p7 (Landmark 3d).
Added help screens for AVBF, C2P7, and C3.

16 June, 1998 Fixed bug which caused SSAM 3D main panel
to exit with the error message:
        /home/ssam/tstapps/dist/etc/SSAM/images/ssam-news-data ...
------------------------------------------------------------------

New version of SSAM interface to IESX available for Sun platforms.

It solves the following problems:
   1) Incorrect results from data volumes where time of first
sample is greater than zero. This problem is usually
detected in the Seismic View as a horizon with all
      zero values.

   2) Missing horizon values along groups of lines or cross-lines
when surface cutting is used. In Basemap View, a horizon
appears as alternating stripes of defined and undefined values.

The new program can be executed from a graphical user interface (GUI)
or from the unix command line. First open an IESX xterm window.
The GUI is accessed from the SSAM panels by typing "SSAM" on the
command line and selecting
"IESX 10px 3D SSAM (new version)".
The GUI may also be executed by typing "ssamiesxgui".
The program may also be run without a user interface by typing
the "ssam3diesx2" command.

At this time, the new program does not support coherency.
It computes single trace attributes for 3D
data only. The new program is not available for SGI platforms
at this time. The old version of SSAM will continue to be available
until the new program performs coherency calculations.

Bugs: When program begins to process data, there will be a long delay
before status messages appear on screen. The delay time is
usually a function of the size of the survey grid.

SSAM will not handle Landmark .3dv files when the time of first
      sample is negative.
