NAME

IKP.new - shell to start up the graphical iconic flow
     builder

SYNOPSIS

     IKP.new

DESCRIPTION

IKP.new properly starts the graphical iconic flow builder,
ikp, with all the appropriate builtin menu files and some
standard pre-built netfiles. The purpose of the graphical
interface is to assist the user in building up complicated
processing flows, to test these flows interactively on small
data sets, and to actually run these flows on full data
sets. The recommended procedure for the interactive mode is
to build and test but not to do production runs. Once a
flow has been built and tested it can be saved in a named
file (called a netfile) and executed using ikp in a batch
mode using the UNIX nohup facility to run jobs after logging
off and also using the at facility which allows users to
     submit jobs at specific times.
