NAME

gli2disco - converts output of GLI3D to a DISCO file suit-
     able for HEADPUT.

SYNOPSIS

     gli2disco [ -Nntap ] [ -Ootap ] [ -Ccorr ] [ -S ] [ -R ] [
     -B ] [ -Q ] [ -iseediseed ] [ -? ]

DESCRIPTION

gli2disco reads a report file computed by GLI3D (*.ele) that
contains weathering statics corrections. The user selects
the type of static value desired. The types include: total
     (long+short+elev), drift (long + short), long (long-period)
     , short (short-period ), elev (elevation ), and elev_remove
(remove elevation). We write these corrections to a 3-
column data file for input into the DISCO data base. We
write a separate file for source and receiver correction.
Consequently, you execute GLI2DISCO 2x, once for sources,
and once for receivers. Any missing receiver group is
linearly interpolated from its nearest neighbors.

GLI2DISCO gets both its data and its parameters from command
line arguments. These arguments specify the input, output,
the type of static desired, the station (shot or receiver),
     and the format type.

  Command line arguments
     -Nntap
Enter the input GLI file name (*.ele) immediately after
          typing -N.

     -Ootap
Enter the output DISCO file name immediately after typ-
          ing -O.

     -Ccorr
          Static correction options: total (default)
                                     drift
                                     long
                                     short
                                     elev
                                     elev_remove

     -Stype
          Type -S for source statics.

     -Rtype
          Type -R for receiver statics.

     -Bbig
Type -B if the statics model contains 3 or more layers.

     -Qold
Type -Q for GLI3D input originating from the batch
GLI3D program; otherwise GLI2DISCO assumes the input
came from the newer interactive GLI3D code.

     -iseediseed
Enter a seed value to add to all statics file data
values in order to prevent any naturally occuring
zeros. The default is -7777 which works for all cases
unless the value 7777 exists in the table.

-? Enter this (or '-?' if you are running in c-shell) to
get online help. The program will terminate after
          printing this.
