NAME

panlt2z - Convert MBS sort panel from time to depth

SYNOPSIS

panlt2z [-Nntap] [-Ootap] [-VTvtap] [-Iiskip] [-npnpanl]
     [-dtdt] [-ttmax] [-V] [-h] [-?]

DESCRIPTION

panlt2z applies a time to depth conversion to either common
angle or common offset panels (sorted to crp's) using a
     velocity field.

Program panlt2z obtains its parameters from command line
arguments, and it reads the sorts of common angle or common
offset data from a USP compatible seismic dataset.

  Command line arguments
     -Ninput
Enter the filename of the crp sorts after typing -N.
This is a USP-formatted dataset of crp sorts of common
angle or common offset data obtained after prestack
depth migration. The mbs common angle depth migration
codes are pwmvzn, kmpw, fxpwmig. The mbs common offset
codes are binmig, avomig and sammig. Programs sns or
angs can be used to decimate and sort the output from
kmpw, fxpwmig, pwmvzn, binmig or avomig. The common
offset migration sequence which is controlled by
          xmig(samx),
           "prepmig -> vsamp -> vsm -> vsamp -> kray -> sammig ->
sammerg -> zstrch", will also create crp sorted common
          offset images.

     -Ooutput
Enter the filename of the output panel (in depth) after
          typing -O

     -VTvtap
The velocity field used in the mbs program. The first
trace of the velocity field should match the location
          of the first panel.

     -Iiskip
The panel increment (e.g. if every 10th panel was saved
in the sort, this entry should be 10).

     -npnpanl
This is the number of migrated angles or offsets gen-
erated by the mbs code. Typically this will be the
number of traces per record (after sorting). However,
the crp's could be grouped differently - for example
program sns can produce one "super record" with all the
          crp's in a single record.

     -dtdtms
The input sample interval in ms. No default.

     -ttmax
The maximum output time im ms. No default.

-h Enter -h for online help. Program will terminate after
          printing this.

-? Enter this (or '-?' if you are running in c-shell) to
get online help. The program will terminate after
          printing this.
