I installed Monroe 58427 SensaTrac overload (or "load leveling") shocks on my car.
They provide a nice ride quality and prevent the car from sagging too much with a heavy load.
NOTE: After about 18 months, these shocks were incredibly
noisy. I replaced them with conventional shocks, along with stiffer
CC667 springs. The new
springs, having a variable rate, provides better ride quality than the
OE springs combined with these shock absorbers. The load carrying
capability of the car is comparable.

The old shocks were well worn; it took about 5 lb of force to compress them! The new ones are
incompressible with human arm strength.

The right side shock was difficult to remove. I had to cut it off the axle and the mount.
