Run: once a net has been competely connected either Select it (see below) and left click or ctrl-R to start it running or select the Run which causes a "hand" to appear prompting the user to point and click on any process box of the net to start it running. At this point the process boxes should become shaded while the net is running. If something crashes the box at or just before will turn black and an error message will appear.
Name: allows names to be assigned to nets. Selecting this causes a "hand" to appear prompting the user to point to any process box in a net and left click. A dialog box will appear and the user may enter a name. Currently the name is a tag only and can be used to identify nets in a saved net file.
Abort: if you wish to terminate a running net left click here or type ctrl+C (which is the UNIX key-combo to blow away a running process.
Select: click or hitting the S key will cause a hand to appear prompting the user to left click in any process box of a net. The net is then "selected", e.g. it can now be run by typing ctrl-R.
Copy: click or hit the shift key and C and a copy symbol will appear. Then left click in any process box of a net. The net will then highlight and an "angle iron" will appear. This marks the current location upper left corner of copied net. When you left click in the drawing area the copied net will appear (it will also be the current or selected net).
Destroy: click or hit the shift key and D. A skull & crossbones pointer will appear and clicking in any proces box of a net will cause that net to be blown away after responding to the popup prompt asking if you really want to do this..
Stop: click here then in any proces box of a running net to pause the entire flow.
Restart: click here to restart a paused net. Warning: this doesn't always work over a network and can result in rogue processes left on remote machines.
